Gerry O’Brien’s career now spans 5 decades having made his professional debut at the Gate theatre in 1970. He has worked on most of the stages in Ireland over the years appearing in productions of Shakespeare, Moliere, Yeats, O’Casey as well as Hugh Leonard, Neil Simon and Tom Murphy.

Ann Russell (Trustee)
Ann Russell has worked in the industry for 30+ years as an actor, director and teacher. She trained with the late Deirdre O’Connell at the Focus Stanislavski Studio at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. She has an MA in Modern Drama from UCD and a teaching diploma from London College. [Read more…]
Gerry Lee (Trustee)
Gerard Lee became a member of Equity in 1988. He is an actor, writer, director and script development mentor. In addition to working on stage, television, film and radio, his own plays have been produced in Bewley’s Café Theatre, The Viking, The New Theatre and Theatre Upstairs. His debut novel ‘Forsaken’ is published by New Island Books. In recent years Gerard has been working with actors to develop their own scripts for stage. Having previously served on the Equity executive, he is honoured to return to active service as a Trustee in Irish Equity.
