Ann has a wide range of theatrical experience
ranging from Shakespeare to the works of O’Casey,
Synge, John B. Keane, Brian Friel and Arthur Miller.
At Focus she performed in such American classics
as All My Sons (Miller) Awake and Sing (Odets) and
Precious Sons (George Furth) as well as The Balcony (Genet) and The Secret Rapture (Hare).
Most recently (2025) Ann played Sally in Sally's Return by Michael Harnett at the Viking Theatre.  Other recent theatre roles include Ivy in Tara Maria Lovett's The Tide at The New Theatre, The Dolmen and The Whale, Carol in Risk Everything by Canadian Dramatist George F. Walker which had a run at The New Theatre and subsequently at The Viking in Clontarf, and Puffin's Nest by Oliver McQuillan (New Theatre).
She has also acted in comedies such as Moll (Irish Tour) The
Chastitute (Gaiety +Irish tour) and Women on the
Verge of HRT (UK #1 Tour + Irish Tour) where she played in
major historic theatres throughout the UK. Other
theatre includes; Portia Coughlan (New Theatre),
Vampirella and the Company of Wolves (Project),
Dancing at Lughnasa (Punchbag, Galway), Reading
Turgenev (Meridian, Cork) Romeo and Juliet, Richard
11 and Elysium Nevada, nominated for an Irish Times
award 2010 (Bewley’s+UK/Irish tour).

She devised and performed in A Titter of Wit - celebrating the work of Irish writers and dramatists - at the Irish Writers Centre with fellow ReActors Owen O'Gorman and Jessica Freed.

Film and TV includes Harry Wild, Family, Fair City, Ballykissangel, Snakes & Ladders & numerous short films.

Ann trained with the late Deirdre O'Connell at the Focus Stanislavski Studio, where she worked extensively as an actor and director. She also studied at the Lee Strasberg Film and TV Institute in NYC, has an MA in Modern Drama from UCD and a Licentiate (Teaching) from London College of Music and Drama.
